Margutta 19 Hotel

Rome, Italy

Margutta 19 is a scattered Hotel housed in the old artist studios of the famous Via Margutta. Studio Magnaghi’s project has been respectful the urban fabric and history of the neighborhood, but introducing elements of modernity and a contemporary design.

The aim of the project was to create Hotel rooms that give the impression of living in a private Roman house. The services of a sophisticated Boutique Hotel had to go hand in hand with an elegant yet intimate, welcoming and never impersonal atmosphere. Each Suite is a small designer apartment. The design of the rooms has been taken care of down to the smallest detail, the furniture is bespoke and the materials chosen are warm and natural, with constant cultural references to the Roman architectural tradition. Not a sparkling luxury, therefore, but solid, comfortable and typical.

The project was carried out on historic buildings and was preceded by careful research.
