Nicola Fabrizi House
Rome, Italy
Nicola Fabrizi House is located in the center of Rome and is an apartment designed on the habits of the family who live there. The house is made up of an area dedicated to parents, with ample spaces to welcome friends, and an area dedicated to children, totally autonomous. To reflect the wishes of the hostess, what was once a separate kitchen has been moved to the center stage of the apartment. The original Venetian floor has been safeguarded through this conspicuous redistribution of spaces.
The spaces of the house are permeable. The presence of wings and light cuts in the upper part of the walls gives the impression of undefined and non-oppressive spaces. The sleeping area, in backlit linen gauze, contrasts with the rich, almost monumental bathroom in paonazzetto marble and brass, stolen from the Roman tradition.
